The Polycom IP501 Data / Power cable is required for providing data and power connectivity to the Polycom IP501 IP phone. A Polycom 12v power supply plugs into the black plastic structure near one end of the cable. The data cable is a RJ45 Ethernet cable with RJ45 Ethernet jacks on each end. This cable is usually (not with all bundles) included with the Polycom IP501 IP phone. If your data / power cable is lost, broken or not included with your IP501 this is the replacement part. Note: If you are using the Polycom PoE Cable, the Polycom IP501 Data / Power Cable is not necessary.
