DSL Modems
DSL Modem modulates high-frequency tones for transmission to a DSLAM, and receives and demodulates them from the DSLAM, usually to serve a computer or computers. It serves fundamentally the same purpose as the voiceband modem that was a mainstay in the late 20th century, but differs from it in important ways. DSL modem is a device used to connect a single computer or router to a DSL phone line, in order to use an ADSL service.
